MY REVIEW
I'm so sorry but oh my god, this is the first one that I did not get to finish this year and I feel like I should be disappointed in myself.
Now do not get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Kendall Ryan from the Filthy Beautiful series to Hot Jocks but there will really be days when you really don't get connected with the books you read.
I can't even explain it. I wanted to really like this book like 100% want it to work.
I think I like the father-daughter relationship so far but I didnt even get to the half of the book!
Here's the thing, everything sounded really great, AWESOME even, when I read the blurb over but oh my goodness it felt off when I started reading it towards the point where I finally accepted that me and the book did not have any chemistry AT ALL...
I'm sure to other peoples eyes the h is pretty much on to a really realistic sh*ts cause she definitely is but she was also the main reason why I didn't want to continue. One, she is thirty and she is still CONFUSED and she says she's a commitment phobe, well OKAY. Then the next thing I know she's getting it on with the Hero who is obviously horny and does not want nor does he need that type of relationship. Now we all know this type of story-lines either go up or down hill cause it is basically in every other book about being a single dad looking for his 'One' but to me the make or break is definitely the characters chemistry and I did not feel that, not even on their first encounter. Maybe it was me, maybe I went on in to this close minded but whatever it was, I just didn't want to waste my time pretending I liked it when I didn't.

Book Overview
From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a standalone romance about a swoony single dad and the new neighbor he falls for.
Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.
I was that girl.
You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her two best friends—who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.
By reckless, I mean the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like french fries, so there’s that.
He took me home, and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life. Well, until it came to a screeching and rather unwelcome halt.
There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking, “What are you doing to my daddy?”
Just kill me now . . . or so I thought.
Come to find out, the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.
