I was not expecting the whole drama that went on all over the book. However, I did expect that I will love the story. Ginny and Luke's present are something I was really looking forward to but, there were so many things going on that I felt like they didn't have that many moments.
Book Title: Be My December
Series: The Crawford Brothers #1
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Author: Rachel Brookes
Book/Movie Overview
I knew the exact moment I’d become a ‘yes’ girl.
December 16th, a cold winter’s night, four years ago.
The night my innocence was stolen, the night I made the mistake of saying no—a mistake I’d never make again.
The dream of a ‘happily ever after' was now a locked away myth. I promised myself that I’d never return to the place of my worst nightmare, that I’d never let anyone get close, but then again, I never thought I’d meet someone like him.
The intense, confident and beautiful Ky Crawford.
I had no plans to become someone’s Prince Charming.
I couldn’t be. I refused to be. My plan was simple—do whatever it takes to correct my biggest mistake, my one regret that now controlled my life.
I was on track. I had plans, but then everything changed when I saw her—the girl in the red jacket, the girl who I was told couldn’t say no.
The reserved yet stunning Eden Rivers.
A girl who can’t say no.
A guy who craves redemption.
A chance encounter?
It all comes down to this.
One question.
One month.
Be My December?

Book Overview
They tell you that a parent’s love is all consuming. I never put much thought into it. Not until the minute I heard her take her first breath. That little girl is my world. I’d do anything to protect her.
My ex signed over her rights and her family vowed that my daughter didn’t exist. Now that she’s gone, they want my little girl. They’re trying to say I can’t give her what she needs.
I’ve known Evan all my life. Our families farms run parallel with each other. He and my brother Aaron have been best friends for as long as I can remember.
What they’re trying to do is wrong. He needs my help, someone he can trust and I’m more than happy to do it. I volunteered without hesitation.
I should have thought about what it would be like to have our lives intertwined. I should have thought about what would happen when our time together ended and how my heart would feel when I had to walk away.

I really really liked it. The passion, the love and the obvious feelings they have for each other just makes me want to dig into the book deeper. What I also like about this one is that I expected that this book would have a slightly "Alpha" type hero but instead I got a very loving and very much a man, a real man and I could tell you that I loved every second reading about this man. But Overall, the book was so so so cute.

They both matured alright! Tyler and Bayleigh has been through a lot of tough times in the previous book and on this one they continue to have the lines blurred for them. I was holding a bit of anger towards Bayleigh though. I mean, she held what she was feeling from Tyler and I was sweating my effing palms for her to spit it out already but I do understand her reservations.

I am blown away. Literally! This is by far one of my favorite books this year. I mean, again for the second time in 2015 I could not express how deserving a book is for a rating that is more than 5 stars. I have not read anything from S. Nelson but if her other books are as great as this or even better then there is no doubt that I would buy all her other books in a heartbeat.

Before I start my official take on the book, I would love to announce that this one is a PG and I loved it. And Everyone can read it. It was like a breath of fresh air and away from all the hot stuff that I have been reading the previous weeks. Also, this is my first book from the A.L. and I must say that it wasn't bad but it wasn't so great either.

Genre: Contemporary Romance/Erotica
Author: K.L. Kreig
Purchase: AMAZON US ♥ UK
Book Overview
Memories.
When does our past stop picking at our scars and start letting them heal?
Scars.
Can we see beyond our wounds to the possibilities the future holds?
Possibilities.
How do we let ourselves become vulnerable enough to trust the love that’s right in front of us?
Fate. She’s a fickle, wily bitch that slaps us in the face every opportunity she gets. Sometimes it’s a taunt, but sometimes it’s a goddamn wake-up call to pay attention. Take what’s rightfully yours without shame or apology. So when destiny put me straight in Alyse Kingsley’s path once again, I knew this was one slap I wasn’t ignoring. I’d let her get away once. I wouldn’t again. She was mine and I was takin’ her, kicking and screaming if need be.
Alyse ~ Deceit and betrayal. Every single person who was supposed to love me committed one of these.
My mother.
My father.
My sister.
My lover.
Incapable of letting people see the real me, I hold them at arm’s length. But Asher Colloway is relentless and it doesn’t take long before I cave to his pursuits. The big question is: can I let him in where it counts most? Before ghosts from my past come back to haunt me in ways I can’t possibly fathom? Before it’s too late?
Asher ~ Trust. Forgiveness. Impossible concepts, having been fucked over by a woman I’d loved before. But those aren’t my only personality flaws.
I’m possessive.
I’m jealous.
I’m dominant.
I have a secret kink.
I want Alyse. All of her. She shows people the shiny, untainted surface. I want the murky, damaged depth. The shadows. I want in all the way. Just when I think I’ve made it, fate cruelly bitch-slaps me again. And this time I don’t see it coming. The question now is: what am I willing to do to keep the woman I love by my side? And can Alyse accept me the way I am, faults and all?

Chyna
Every chance I get, I go to watch the local fights.
I crave the excitement and the rush as it courses through my body, with the sounds of fists meeting flesh.
It’s not just the blood or the hard bodies that keeps me coming back each time, wanting more.
It’s Jace ‘King’ Kash and his artic blue eyes. He has fists made of steel with a body honed for speed. He’s breathtaking to watch in the cage. The King easily brings men to their knees, and then graciously helps them up when he’s finished.
Getting introduced to him was thrilling, falling in love with him, unexpected.
Jace comes pounding through, waking my mind and body up; showing me what I was missing out on in my life.
He makes me realize what I could have and that what doesn’t destroy me, will eventually make me stronger.
Jace
Illusions, life is full of them. My life wasn’t always like it is now, how it appears from the outside.
I was drowning in drugs, gangs and in my brother’s bad decisions.
So, I did what I do best, I fought my way out. I keep fighting, using every asset I have and attempting to get as far away from my past as possible.
Chyna enters into my life right as I’m prepping for the biggest fight of my existence.
I wasn’t looking for any new distractions, but she becomes my personal drug of choice, begging me to use her.
Unfortunately, Chyna’s not the only person that show’s up out of the blue.
When my past decides to go after my girl, it’s my turn to make it rain, to make it hurt.
I refuse to let it destroy me this time, dragging her down in the process. I just hope she can make it through the last round beside me and not forfeit.
Once that bell rings, watch out, because I will come for you, I will hunt you down and fight to the death.
I’m the King, I won’t be defeated.
My Review

Jace and Chyna are both hilarious acts. Chyna's very active and bubbly while Jace is very alpha like and really really sappy when he started feeling something for Chyna. In totality the book made me laugh and smile. But, I really really wanted more. I want so bad to see them having their own family and how Jace handles it because I keep imagining how cute that would be.

My Review

Don't you just love it when Fate interfere? Dane and Ari's relationship is so complicated sometimes that I can't help but get frustrated with everything that is going on in their life. What I really love though is the way they compliment each other, not literally, but is a much more passionate and emotional way. And I love love love how the family vibe came around in this book and the fact that there was some hints of other people's lives as well. I've read the first book and this is a completely different world from that, that is the main reason why I now love this series.

Yes, YEP YEP YEP! I thoroughly enjoyed that read. Gambling and love? To say that this book proved both to go well hand in hand is an understatement. After the book came to an end all I thought was, how freaking lucky are they to win that game? (And yes, I am talking about the real game performed but it can also apply to they're relationship) I didn't really think highly on their intimate parts because I thought they did okay aside from that moment where they first hit it off. That was ultimately something. There is just something about the alley activities...
