Book Overview
Ever since she was a teenager, Grace Parnell has had one ambition: to prove her father’s innocence and overturn his prison sentence. That drive led her to become a tough, compassionate lawyer—until the case hits a heartbreaking end. Now Grace is adrift, with no idea how to rebuild her life. It’s certainly not the time to fall in love. But from the moment she meets Artemis Tanner, their instant connection is undeniable.
A motor-sports pioneer, Tanner has come to this little coastal town for the racetrack—but he’s staying for Grace. Even though the standoffish attorney seems determined to stay out of reach, Tanner doesn’t need a law degree to tell that their attraction is very, very mutual. As her visits to the track become more frequent, and as Tanner learns more about Grace’s troubled family, he starts to pry open the tiny cracks in her controlled demeanor. Hidden beneath, there’s an incredible passion waiting to be set free.
My Review
How actually
devastating everything went for Grace? After doing everything she could to be
the best lawyer she can be, after dwelling too much on her inspiration to
become the best she was then handed an unacceptable truth. I kind of liked how
Grace changed after learning her facts. She's then sent herself out there and
find out what she really want. I imagine this kind of thing happens for most
people. I don't mean that they experience what Grace went through but the
'soul-searching' phase. After serving time with the only thing you know, you
are to wake up one day and find that you don't even know yourself or what you
can do.
If Tanner wasn't
persistent and determined I don't think he and Grace will ever really get too
far. I find him cute and I find his actions kind of sweet towards Grace. Being
a person who doesn't stay in one place for long gets boring by time. What both
characters have felt delicate or maybe it's just Grace but I felt like if they
don't put themselves in the relationship they could only get too far and in the
middle of the road one of them is bound to be left behind.
I absolutely loved
the book. It has given me actual life lessons and now that I think about it,
maybe being focused on one thing is too much. Maybe we all should try
exploring. In all aspects in life.

He loves his life, and doesn’t care about anyone except himself. But Willa is the exception—and he understands the girl she’s become in a way no one else can.
As secrets come to light and hearts are broken, these former childhood friends must face the truth about growing up and falling in love…even if it means losing each other forever.
My Review
I could not believe
I actually went against my instincts this time. I have only read a handful of
love triangles in my life because I did not like that kind of plot in any way,
shape or form. But, I do not know what got to me and what is the main reason why
I actually wanted to read this book. I've read the first installment just
recently and I thought it was borderline okay.
I have no doubt in
my mind, when I was just a few chapters in the book, on who would be the hero
Willa chooses and I was not let down. Everything about this book was explosive
and I think that was the reason why I wanted to read this so bad. As I have said
before, I kind of grown out of Abbi's books but with this book I was constantly
bombarded by surprises and unexpected revelations. I loved it.
The characters, the
love, the history, the family and the attitudes did me in and there is no doubt
now that I will be reading the next installment cause I am terribly intrigued.

I'm honest about what I am. You want to screw until you can't see straight? I'm your guy. You want to experience the best oral orgasm of your life, don't pass go and collect two-hundred dollars. Eating you for dessert is my specialty. I live for that. Skinny, average or meat on your bones, I don't care. Blonde, brunette...white, Asian, black...
Are you pink where it counts? Then you're my type.
I'm your guy.
For the duration of our affair, I will call you Sugar because I can't bother to retain your name.
That's the kind of man I am, and you will know that going in. I make sure of it.
So it's not my fault her friend loved me, but She is going to make me pay for that.
And I'm too addicted to her taste to walk away.
My Review
All through out the
book I felt like my brows were so close to kissing each other. The book was on
the heroes POV (mostly) and basically, he is a fuckboy. A bachelor and whatever
else you call a guy who grabs the girl he wants and then drops 'em when he is
done. The book was pretty entertaining and there was so much humor. That was
what I love.
I was only partial
to the intense scenes because I had a hung up since I started reading the book.
It's not the books' fault really, it's just that I've had this sick feeling
about not liking the way they'll end the relationship plus the secret that was too
conflicting to guess added to my worry. How that would affect the intense
scenes? I don't know. I have always been futuristic and I do not like it, when
even if I wasn't the one performing the sexual activity, I still find myself
overthinking it even if the characters doesn't.
Nate and Stealth.
They were too explosive to let it go for just one minor reason. At least I
think it was only minor. Also, can I just add that I sometimes find Nate's
friends annoying? And surely if I finally read their stories it would even be
more interesting if my view of them changes. On that note, I thought the book
was great and it's worth recommending.

My Review
I wasn't able to
take notes because I thought the book was too cute to even pause. Though I
didn't really need to take notes because the book itself for me had less to no
flaws at all. Yes, for some it might've been a little too obvious as to who the
secret guy was but to me, I was a bit skeptical. Maybe that was it, maybe
that's exactly what lure me in and made me what to finish the book all the way.
So secret guy and
Lily live a different life. As in so so different even I had a hard time
thinking if they could really make their relationship worthwhile because one,
Lily lives around chaos and the life she lived in was fun and crazy whilst
Mystery guy lives a rich life with a distant parent he wants nothing but to
reach out to.
The friendship in
this book was admirable. It was too strong and it felt raw. Like there are
actually friends like Isabel out there in the world who are selfless and
understanding. All through out the book it was obvious to me that their
friendship was stronger than anything else because not many friends are willing
to give way and support their friends when they both want the same thing. Or
she used to.
The book all in all
is absolutely worth the time, penny and I regretted holding it off for a few
days thinking that it might not click with me. Kasie is a new author for me and
she made an absolutely great first impression. I recommend this book to all readers
of all genre and to all ears who'd listen to me rant about it. YA's are such a
refreshing read. I know this now.

Book Overview
Alicia Forkes went to a trendy club looking for a way to forget her troubles, and she found that in the arms of the gorgeous man who swept her off of her feet…and into one of the hottest encounters she’d ever had in her life. Awesome sex with a stranger is now something she can check off her bucket list.
Except he isn’t exactly a stranger. He’s the guy who broke her heart when they were teens, an experience she doesn’t plan on repeating.
Prince Leo can’t believe he’s finally found the woman he’s loved for years, and she wants nothing to do with him. When she shows up at his office, she looks anything but princess-like. In fact, she’s cursing him to hell and back. She may not be Cinderella, but he’s determined to prove he’s the prince for her––even if it means letting her go.
My Review
So I may have jumped
straight to the second book of the series and I may not be regretting it. I
genuinely think that Alicia was, without a single doubt, experienced an
extensive care from the prince (And I am saying this lightly). More
specifically, her ex-boyfriend-the prince. She was a bit standoffish but I find
her resistance to Leo cute.
Now I only really
ever venture to fairytale sometimes and this felt fairytale in particular felt
sweet. Albeit I did not like it when Leo took everything too far, far as in
most likely kidnapping Alicia, he was only interested in making her see that he
hasn't change and his feelings for her has not withered. That in itself is the
reason why I think the book is sweet. I hope the next installment would be a
little less sweet though.

I am blown away. Literally! This is by far one of my favorite books this year. I mean, again for the second time in 2015 I could not express how deserving a book is for a rating that is more than 5 stars. I have not read anything from S. Nelson but if her other books are as great as this or even better then there is no doubt that I would buy all her other books in a heartbeat.

Don't you just love it when Fate interfere? Dane and Ari's relationship is so complicated sometimes that I can't help but get frustrated with everything that is going on in their life. What I really love though is the way they compliment each other, not literally, but is a much more passionate and emotional way. And I love love love how the family vibe came around in this book and the fact that there was some hints of other people's lives as well. I've read the first book and this is a completely different world from that, that is the main reason why I now love this series.

Yes, YEP YEP YEP! I thoroughly enjoyed that read. Gambling and love? To say that this book proved both to go well hand in hand is an understatement. After the book came to an end all I thought was, how freaking lucky are they to win that game? (And yes, I am talking about the real game performed but it can also apply to they're relationship) I didn't really think highly on their intimate parts because I thought they did okay aside from that moment where they first hit it off. That was ultimately something. There is just something about the alley activities...

My Review

This was exactly what I expected it to be. Fast and sexy read starring a Hot biker guy and an innocent independent girl. Hot and absolutely burning with love and want. This pairing is hard not to fall in love with. It was really hard in the beginning, reading how Tish had to be mature for her own age and how independent she had to become just to survive but when things started to get better for her, everything shifted.
