MY REVIEW

Mysterious brothers best friend? Check. Level headed best friend's sister? Double Check.
Let me just start with the fact that I've bought this book and it has been on my shelf for like YEARS. It wasn't until the other day that I decided to read all my untouched books because I was really getting crazy with what was going on with the world. I checked out the blurb and I was like 'that sounds like what I want to read right now, let me pull that' and then I found out that I also had a copy of the 5th book in this installment. I was just sold. Dating a brother's best friend is a to die for plots for me so I just went for it.

Right from the start, the chemistry just sizzled. I mean, I don't remember much what happened on the previous installment but I do see that I rated it 5 stars so it must've been the same reason why I got these other books from the series. Killer chemistry and intense scenes and all that. Although it has been a while since I've read any books from Katy Evans, I must admit that all of her books are very much outstandingly written. From a great chemistry to a very strong characters to an interesting plot, her writing is just one that I honestly love and don't regret spending on.

I though the sharing of smoke was cute but I do not really like this habit especially in the books I read. Most of the time, I just choose to ignore it.
Olivia is young. Obviously, since she is just about ready to start her internship. The thing that really captured me is the fact that she doesn't want to live off of her brothers shadow and she was determined to give her best in to her future. Not everyone at 22 thinks that way! She's so invested in getting on with her plan which is what everyone on her age must do. It's just crazy how insecure she gets when she was with Callan and she was very much intimidated. On top of everything, she just knows where she stands and what she signed up for which is very very attractive for me, at least.
It wasn't until I got to the end of the book that I finally realized how vulnerable Callan was becoming. Of course, all those talk about him being this and that gets us a little perceptive of what he is but on Olivia's point, he was not much of a talker. HE was very mysterious for me. Yes, there were sweet gestures and cute but manly actions however, he wasn't as showy as I thought he would be when they got together. What I'm trying to say is he is mysterious up until after the conflict.

The plan will always be there but, the timeline is not the easiest to follow.

I'm just awed by how things ended. I mean, all throughout the book both characters have been reasonable and very much independent. They are both determined and committed to their plans which was what made this book admirable aside from how their romance started. No one was careless or juvenile but I have to admit there were times where I thought Livvy was acting indifferent because she tried so hard not to get attached.

Book Overview

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans comes a brand new contemporary romance. WOMANIZER is a full standalone, and no other books in the series need to be read.

You've seen the headlines: Womanizing billionaire player! Watch out! Stay away!

We were just two strangers. Facing a forbidden attraction, a chemical connection. Neither of us expected or wanted it to amount to more.
But I had never been drawn to a guy the way I was drawn to this one: my brother's best friend, and CEO of the company where I interned.
Even knowing I should stay away, I proved to be too human, after all.
The chemistry was amazing.
The laughs were incredible.
I opened up to him in more ways than I'd opened up to anyone before.
But sex was as far as I'd go.
Just sex because he was too irresistible.
Just sex because I wouldn't be falling for him.
Just sex because I'd leave in three months, and I'd like for my brother not to kill me, and for nobody to find out he was my wicked little secret.
He wasn't the One.
He was just a womanizer.
But for a time, he would be mine.
