Genre: SPORTS ROMANCE
Series: Rollin On #1
Author: Emilia Finn

Book Overview

“Emilia Finn made me swoon, and tear up and literally clutch at my pillow. Her pain was my pain. I felt her swoon. I felt everything and then some. Finding Home isn't about just love, it's about family, it's about finding your own and surviving life.”

“I loved every single minute finding new nuances of each character. Every single soul in the book left their foot print in my heart. Thank you, Emilia Finn for writing this beautiful story. I am your fan forever.”

Kit Reilly is just an average woman; strong, hardworking and fiercely independent, but when her best friend dies young and Kit inherits a belligerent teenage dependent, she just wants life to be a little less dramatic.

She lives day to day, doing her best to keep her head above water, and she tries to encourage her new house mate to be a decent human being.

Bobby Kincaid is a local gym owner and professional UFC fighter. He is a family man, through and through, but he’s not looking to settle down. He has a big fight this year, and no time or desire for distractions.

Will he win the title? Will he make room in his life for a few extras?

It's a life or death race to the end.

Will Kit be able to find home again, before it's too late?

This is a full length novel with no cliffhanger.

My Review

I loved it. Really . I loved how everything started out and even I thought it had a potential to be another 5-stars read but unfortunately, I thought it wasn't consistent. What could hold my attention in a book is consistency. If everything was good from beginning to mid then I'm hella staying through climax up until the end. Isn't that how we all want it?

Baking With A Rockstar
Book Title: Baking With A Rockstar
Genre: ROMANCE
Series: Brooksville #1
Author: Jasmin Miller

Book Overview

A fun, sweet, and sexy romance with a swoon-worthy rockstar and a single mom that will make your heart burst with happiness.

Rockstar Hudson Mitchell is over the glitz and spotlight of the music industry. Desperate for a break from the fast-paced life of fame, he retreats to the one place that has always been home.

Brooksville, California.

It's the same place where Charlie has taken refuge, trying to build a life for herself and her young daughter. The quiet, small-town atmosphere and her new bakery venture are exactly what she needs to pick up the pieces of her shattered past.

As they spend more time together, neither of them is prepared for the effect Charlie has on Hudson, and how important she would become for his career.

My Review

Oh it wasn't all just flowers and balloons alright. It was a hell of a lot more and I did not just decide to whip up a 5-stars rating for this. I try really hard to rate the books I read in a deeper manner. Basically, this got my whooping 5 because everything about this book seemed to be thought out of a real life in a lot of sense like family, practicality, life, independence, love and even the timings and pace. I never felt rushed or that it was too quick while I was reading it. To me, it was all set on a perfect pace and not all books could have that sense.

The Best Kind Of Mistake
Book Title: The Best Kind Of Mistake
Genre: Novella
Series: The Best Kind Novella #1
Author: Jasmin Miller

Book Overview

Life regret number one: Moving into an apartment where all I hear are the moans coming from my downstairs neighbor's apartment. It's pretty obvious what's happening behind those doors, which is even more frustrating when you aren't getting any action yourself.

To make matters worse, I got fired from my job, and my savings account is pathetic. That means I can't eat my body weight in donuts, even if I wanted to...and I really want to. Thanks to my sister, though, I have a new work opportunity lined up, and I promised myself I wouldn't do anything to lose this one. Until I realize my new boss, Logan, is none other than my sex god of a neighbor.

Keeping my ever-growing attraction to him in check proves to be a lot harder than I thought, especially with my knowledge of his extracurricular activities. When my new job as his photography assistant keeps throwing us together--sometimes completely eliminating our personal space--I find it more and more difficult to remember why I'm supposed to stay away from him.

Hi, I'm Ember Keaton, and I suck at adulting.

The Best Kind Of Mistake is a fun, sweet, and romantic standalone novella with a HEA.

My Review

I picked this up expecting for it to be a really light read as it was mostly what I figured on the blurb and it didn't disappoint. I found this really refreshing.

ABOUT ME

Izney
Thank you for visiting BarelyBae, I've had this blog since I was 17 and over the years, I've read my fair share of good books and then bad so, to help everyone who needs it, I will put up only 100% unbiased reviews. Also, to all readers, we absolutely don't have to read all the books there are in a series. and we should Rate/Review according to how we feel not because we feel obliged to give such a rating. Also, follow me on Goodreads, I'm very active there. *winks*
